Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make Internet information easily accessible even from aged persons and, at the same time, to improve the safety and convenience of the aged persons, etc., in their lives in the society. SOLUTION: An interphone system is provided with an interphone device 31 connected to the Internet through lines 2 and 3 for interphone; a display device 32a which is installed to the device 31 and displays web information acquired from the Internet; a line transfer adaptor 34 which receives transferred telephone number information and, at the same time, gives a talking path to the interphone device 31 after automatically dialing the telephone number contained in the information to the exchange of a public telephone network 24, when the telephone number information is buried in the information designated on the screen of the display device 32a. Since the aged persons can easily perform access to the Internet information by using such a familiar device as the interphone device and their telephone calls are automatically connected to the telephone sets of called persons, the convenience and safety of the aged persons in their lives in the society are improved.
