Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel view system that receives video and audio information transmitted to a home or the like via various broadcast network and communication networks, is configured of recording devices and view terminals, and realizes effective view management by using the view terminal to receive the distribution and to view the distributed information. SOLUTION: The view data management system consists of a video server receiving view data, a view data recorder connected to a downstream of the video server, view terminal groups connected to the downstream side of the video server, and a transmission line that interconnects the video server, the view data recorder and the view terminal groups. The video server transfers a series of view data from a received source to which management data for view management are individually added and records them, stores index information specifying the management data, monitors the transmission line, detects that the view terminal receives distribution of recorded view data, and records and manages the distribution history.
