Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate proper auxiliary power in correspondence with a driving condition or a rod condition. SOLUTION: A motor torque calculating part 64A calculates motor torque T as a coefficient of auxiliary power Pm by a motor and a motor rotational frequency Nm. Further, the motor torque calculating part 64A calculates motor torque T0 as a coefficient of a driving force Ph detected by a human power calculating part 53, which is in proportion to a pedaling force, and a crank rotational frequency NCR. A driving condition determination part 75 determines a driving condition of a vehicle based on actual traveling resistance Ra, assistant vehicle flat place traveling resistance R1, and a vehicle speed V, and instructs an added value of the motor torque T and the motor torque T0 or the motor torque T0 to the motor. Thereby the proper auxiliary power can be supplied in correspondence with the driving condition even in a region wherein travel resistance is low or at a start of pedaling, for example.
