Abstract:
A non-attached monitoring device (2) for monitoring an engineering condition of an environment, especially for monitoring an engineering condition of a tire (4), comprises a body having an outer surface, a monitoring assembly (14) disposed within the body, and an antenna (70) electrically connected to the monitoring assembly (14), whereby the antenna (70) includes at least two spaced conductive bodies (72, 74) that each extend to the outer surface of the body to form a continuous slot at the outer surface of the body of the monitoring device (2).
