Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure for installing a catchment and drainage pipe in a waste disposal site, in which cut-off properties in the tie-in part of both a catchment and drainage pipe and an external communicating part are secured and thereafter generation of stagnant water on the bottom face of the disposal site is prevented and water of the inside of the disposal site can be completely discharged. SOLUTION: In the waste disposal site having such a structure that a hollow box 10 having both edges opened in the inner and outer parts of the waste disposal site is connected to a catchment and drainage pipe 3 of leachate consisting of a perforated pipe piped on the bottom face in the inside of the waste disposal site, the hollow box 10 is buried in the same height as the inner bottom face of the disposal site or in the position slightly lower than it in the inside of a dam body 1. Further, the same seepage control sheet 4 as the same 4 laid on the inner bottom face from the dam body 1 is lined in the inner part of the box 10. The catchment and drainage pipe 3 is inserted into an opened part in the side end part on the disposal side of the box 10 and also its circumference is covered with a water penetration member 12.
