To provide a coin wrapping device 11 capable of accurately detecting a stacking height, and certainly confirming excess and deficiency of the number of coins.
A coin pressing part 45 abutting on the upper face of the coins C stacked to wrapping completion by a wrapping means 26 from the stacking of the coins C in a coin stacking part 24 and pressing them downward is used for the stacking height detection of the coins C. A detection means 56 detects a movement position in a stacking direction of the coin pressing part 45, and the stacking height of the coins C is accurately detected from the movement position in the stacking direction of the coin pressing part 45. The excess and deficiency of the number of the coins can be confirmed even in any timing within a period to the wrapping completion from before wrapping by the wrapping means 26 on the basis of the detection of the detection means 56.
