Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a rubber composition having a greatly improved on-ice frictional force by compounding a diene rubber with a resin powder mainly comprising polyacrylonitrile. SOLUTION: A diene rubber preferably having an average glass transition temperature of -55 deg.C or lower is compounded with a resin powder which has a particle size of 10-200 μm and mainly comprises polyacrylonitrile preferably containing at least 50% acrylonitrile units. Preferably, 100 pts.wt. diene rubber is compounded with 1-20 pts.wt. resin powder. If necessary, 20-80 pts.wt. carbon black having a nitrogen adsorption specific surface area of 70 m2/g or higher and a DBP absorption of 105 mL/100 g or higher and 0-50 pts.wt. wet-type silica are further compounded based on 100 pts.wt. diene rubber. Natural rubbers, butadiene rubbers, styrene-butadiene copolymer rubbers, polyisoprene rubbers, acrylonitrile-butadiene rubbers, etc., are listed as diene rubbers.
