Abstract:
The process involves locking a vehicle (2) when doors of the vehicle to be locked are closed and when the vehicle receives from a tag RF signals containing a cue. The cue indicates the level of reception by the tag of low frequency (LF) signals transmitted by antennae (4,6,8) of the vehicle which is low or zero. One of the LF signals sent previously by the vehicle is of normal level of reception.
