To provide an opening detector for an opening part capable of easily detecting the opening of the opening part such as a suction port or a blowoff port provided in a panel of a container or the like.

This opening detector 10 is provided with a ventilating opening 14 communicating the inside and outside of the container; a sliding cover 17 for opening/closing the ventilating opening; a push-pull control cable 12 comprising an inner cable 21 with one end connected to the sliding cover 17 through a wire material 25, and a conduit 24 for guiding the inner cable; a pulley 43 to which the other end of the inner cable is connected; and a potentiometer PM for detecting the rotating angle of the pulley to output it as an electric signal.
