To provide an inorganic board with a surface having contrast between protruded spots and a flat area.

The inorganic board is a rough-surfaced board-like cured molding of a raw material mixture mainly consisting of a hydraulic inorganic material, a glassy component-containing material, aggregate hardly or not attacked by B2O3, and a reinforcing fiber. This board is obtained by applying a first glaze containing no B2O3or containing at most 5 mass% B2O3to the entire surface of a board-like cured molding, applying a second glaze containing 10 to 25 mass% B2O3only to the protrusions and firing the molding. During the firing, especially the glassy component in the protrusions is attacked by the B2O3in the second glaze, whereupon the aggregate leaves as protruded spots on the surface. The recessed parts constitute a flat area covered with the first glaze layer.
