Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide aromatic polyamide fibers which have an excellent convergence property and excellent antistaticity, and low adhesivity, are hardly wound on a roller or the like, scarcely produce scum, and exhibits excellent spinnability, when fed to a spinning process as staple fibers. SOLUTION: The partial phosphate alkali metal salt of a 6 to 10C alcohol in the amount of 0.1 to 1.0 wt.% (based on the weight of the fibers) is adhered to the surfaces of the aromatic polyamide fibers.
