Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slurry filtering and drying method especially enhanced in drying efficiency. SOLUTION: In the slurry filtering and drying method for supplying a slurry to the region above a filter, which partitions the bottom part of a rotatable container having a jacket up and down, to filter the same and heating the filter cake on the filter from the jacket while rotating the container to dry the slurry, operation for making the internal pressures in the spaces above and below the filter at least almost equal at the time of drying operation is performed.
