To provide a method for manufacturing a piezoelectric vibrator for improving the quality of a small piezoelectric vibrator.
In the piezoelectric vibrator manufacturing method for joining a piezoelectric vibrator piece with a lead constituting an airtight terminal and pressing the piezoelectric vibrator piece into a stem of the airtight terminal by using a bottomed cylindrical case so as to cover the piezoelectric vibrator piece, a piezoelectric vibrator assembling process is allowed to flow by inserting the stem constituting the airtight terminal. Consequently it is unnecessary to distinguish whether a material of a holder is conductive or insulating and a material such as a metal and ceramics having a low discharge gas characteristic and high heat resistance can be selected, so that the piezoelectric vibrator having high airtightness can be manufactured.
