Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an MR flow rate measurement system which quantitatively measures or evaluates a flow rate of low speed flowing fluid such as blood, lymph, etc., in the lower limb without applying a contrast medium. SOLUTION: A pulse sequence includes a read out inclined magnetic field GR with dephase pulse Pdephase added to the pulse main body for reading out an echo signal. This MR flow rate measurement system is equipped with a means to execute a scan by the pulse sequence in a condition the applying direction of the read out inclined magnetic field GR is substantially matched to the direction of movement of measurement object fluid onto a subject placed in a static magnetic field, a means to collect echo signals generated by the scan, and a means to measure the flow rate of the fluid using the echo signals and information of the dephase pulse Pdephase.
