Title:
電解質の改質方法及び改質電解質
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP4595159
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of reforming a polymer electrolyte for granting high heat resistance and durability thereto while maintaining conductivity, and the reformed electrolyte. SOLUTION: The method of reforming the electrolyte comprises putting an amine compound in contact with a perfluoro-polymer electrolyte or its precursor to give amine treatment thereto. Preferably, after amine treatment, either heat treatment of heating the perfluoro-polymer electrolyte or its precursor or base treatment of putting a base in contact with the perfluoro-polymer electrolyte or its precursor is performed. Further preferably, after amine treatment, base treatment is followed by heat treatment. The suitable used amine compound is ammonia. The reformed electrolyte in this way can be improved in heat resistance and durability while maintaining conductivity. Softening or deformation at a high temperature is inhibited and creeping in long-time use is prevented.
