To solve the problem that when receiving and displaying, by radio, image data from an imaging apparatus such as a digital video camera, the image data are transmitted from the camera to a television against user's intention or the user cannot determine whether it is under transmission of the image data.
There are included: a digital camera 104 capable of transmitting image information by radio; image display devices 101, 1012 for displaying images based on image information supplied from the digital camera 104; and a lighting apparatus 103 for lighting so as to identify a wireless communicable area 105 wherein communication caused by the digital camera 104 is possible. If it is detected that the digital camera 104 is placed in the wireless communicable area 105, the transmission of image information from the digital camera 104 to the image display devices 101, 102 is permitted.
