To securely recognize that a scattered X-ray removing grid has been completely mounted on the front side of a two-dimensional X-ray detector for detecting a penetrated X-ray image.
The X-ray equipment has an X-ray imaging mechanism 5 with an X-ray tube 1 for X-ray irradiation, an FPD 2 as the two-dimensional X-ray detector, and the scattered X-ray removing grid 3 detachably mounted on the front side of the FPD 2. The X-ray imaging mechanism 5 is prohibited from moving by an imaging mechanism movement prohibiting part 14 in the off-period when the state of completion of mounting of the scattered X-ray removing grid 3 is not detected by a micro-switch 13 for detecting the state of completion of mounting of the scattered X-ray removing grid 3. When the mounting of the scattered X-ray removing grid 3 is completed and the micro-switch 13 is turned on, the prohibition of movement of the X-ray imaging mechanism 5 by the imaging mechanism movement prohibiting part 14 is released and movement of the X-ray imaging mechanism 5 becomes possible. Accordingly, the state of completion of mounting of the scattered X-ray removing grid 3 is announced as the movement of the X-ray imaging mechanism 5 becomes possible, so that the state of completion of mounting of the scattered X-ray removing grid 3 can be securely recognized.
