To provide a resin composition for optical fiber coating having concurrently satisfactory surface lubricating property and practically satisfactory connector durability.

The resin composition for optical fiber coating contains a radical polymerizable silicone compound expressed by Formula (I), wherein A represents a group having a structure where n pieces of structural units expressed by Formula (II) and m pieces of structural units expressed by Formula (IV) are connected.
