To provide a waste disposal method which enables the sure conduction of the immobilization of heavy metals in the waste without generating a toxic gas such as carbon disulfide, wherein the method dissolves the problem of the generation of carbon disulfide upon adding a prevailing dithiocarbamic acid type heavy metal immobilization treatment agent excellent in capturing capability to heavy metals in conducting the immobilization treatment of toxic heavy metals by the metal capturing agent before disposing the waste such as flying ash discharged from a garbage incineration facility by reclamation.
The disposal method comprises adding the dithiocarbamic acid type heavy metal immobilization treatment agent having a dithiocarbamic acid type functional group introduced by substituting greater than 50% of active hydrogen among the active hydrogens bound to nitrogen of amine groups, and an amine derivative having N-substituted group introduced by substituting 50 % or less of the active hydrogen bound to nitrogen of amine groups to insolubilize the heavy metals in the waste.
