Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To tune a PID controller without supplying a signal for identification to a controlled system in an integral process wherein a controlled variable has cyclic variation. SOLUTION: A cycle analyzing means 31 obtains cycles from a manipulated variable applied to the controlled system 12 from an operation terminal 14 and a controlled variable detected by a detector 15. A simple integrator 32 as an integral characteristic calculating means obtains an integral gain and a process model 30 is generated. A control simulator 16 is constituted by combining a control model 20 and an evaluator 21 which adjusts PID parameters of the control model together and the optimum PID parameters are computed through simulation. The computed PID parameters of the control model are finely adjusted according to a request of the process and can be set as control parameters of the controller 13.
