Abstract:

To correct an amplitude deviation and a phase deviation with frequency characteristics incurred between transmitting and receiving branches in a radio base station device having an array antenna applied to an OFDM communication system.

A correction value for correcting the amplitude deviation and the phase deviation incurred between the transmitting and receiving branches in the array antenna radio base station device is detected for each sub-carrier of an OFDM signal. A transmission weight and a reception weight are calculated for each sub-carrier and the detected correction value for each sub-carrier is used to correct the weight for each sub-carrier, thereby correcting the amplitude deviation and the phase deviation with the frequency characteristics incurred between the transmitting and receiving branches.
