An electric-magnetic field generating element (1) is provided, comprising a pole piece (10), a yoke (12) to which the pole piece (10) is attached, at least one coil (20), a vacuum-tight container (21) accomodating the at least one coil (20), and a holder (40, 23) adapted to hold the vacuum-tight container (21) such that the vacuum-tight container (21) is spaced from the pole piece (10) and the yoke (12).
