Abstract:
To prevent the reverse mounting of a positive electrode and a negative electrode without causing a decrease in volume efficiency in a square or flat battery pack.
The battery pack is equipped with a square or rectangular outer packaging material 1 whose both ends are opened, a battery element housed in the outer packaging material 1, and a top cover 2 and a bottom cover 3 fit to the opened both ends of the outer packaging material 1. Recessed parts 6a, 6b are installed on both sides in one long side of the top cover 2, and cut-out parts 10a, 10b for exposing at least the recessed parts 6a, 6b of the top cover 2 are installed in the outer packaging material 1.
