To provide a rear surface protecting sheet for solar cell ensuring excellent weather resistance, heat resistance, light resistance, wind-pressure resistance, hail-fall resistance, chemical resistance, humidity resistance, contamination resistance, design property, light reflectivity, and voltage resistance property, and other required characteristics, also ensuring reflection property of incident light, ensuring capability for molding and processing with a general purpose method, assuring low cost, safety and durability and also assuring higher electrical power conversion efficiency.

The rear surface protecting film for solar cell is formed of a base material film, a white ink layer, and inorganic vapor deposition film.
