Abstract:
The device has magnets for creating a magnetic field at a sensor chip (10), where the magnet exhibits a cylindrical form. A covering unit (40) e.g. cap unit, has an open end (41) including a connecting surface, which is connected with a connecting surface of a connecting section of a sensor body unit (20). One of the connecting surfaces has flange shaped or curved sections. The flange shaped section running from the covering unit or the sensor body unit protrudes outward. The chip is fixed at a chip fixing section (21) of the body unit, and is isolated from ambient air by the covering unit.
