Abstract:
Method for automatic adjustment of a number of electrical bias voltages has the following steps: provision of a monitoring system for the electrically biased components, application of a feedback signal to the component to monitor a bias load resistance, comparison of the feedback signal with an expected bias voltage and control of the power supply to the biased components based on the feedback signal. Independent claims are made for a device for control and monitoring of the bias voltages applied to rotating electrically biased components used in electrophotographic printing machines and a method for detection of error conditions in biased loads of such a printing machine.
