Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an asphalt plant for treating polluted soil at a low cost. SOLUTION: A polluted soil storage bin 25 is placed in juxtaposition to the body 14 of an asphalt plant, and a metering tank 26 is provided in the lower position of the bin 25. Ordinary-temperature polluted soil is always held in the bin 19 and is used in the production of an asphalt paving mixture by introducing a definite amount of the ordinary-temperature polluted soil metered with the tank 26 into a mixer 23 through a chute 27 and blending it with an asphalt paving mixture base.
