To eliminate a change in a shape of a press mold and reduce a cogging torque in a motor having an auxiliary groove in teeth of a stator iron core, even if the width of the auxiliary groove deviates from an ideal shape.
The permanent magnet motor 10 is formed with the stator 5 by laminating the stator iron cores 1 provided with the auxiliary groove 4 facing a permanent magnet 6 of the teeth 2. The cogging torque is reduced by changing a position of the stator iron core 1 in the lamination direction including null groove width of the auxiliary groove 4. When a ratio of the number of magnetic poles in a rotor 8 and the number of slots in the stator 5 is m:n, and a groove width angle α of the auxiliary groove 4 minimizes (l×k)f component of the cogging torque (k is the least common multiple of m, n, l is an integer of 1 or more, and f is a fundamental wave component), the stator 5 is formed by laminating and combining the stator iron core 1 with the groove width angle of the auxiliary groove 4 less than α and the stator iron core 1 with the groove width angle of the auxiliary groove 4 greater than α.
