To provide a drying device capable of improving drying efficiency of a drying object by improving condensation efficiency of a gas without increasing the size of the drying device.
This drying device 1 comprises a casing 10 provided with a steam heating device 12c on a lower wall, a rotating body 20 rotatably disposed inside of the casing 10 and stirring the dried object, and a scraping-off portion 40 mounted on an outer peripheral portion of the rotating body 20 to scrape off the deposit attached to an inner face of the casing 10. The dried object in the casing 10 includes micro-organism having prescribed enzyme. A heat exchanging portion 50 condensing the steam generated from a dried material in a drying process and discharging the condensate water G is disposed at an upper part of the casing 10. The condensate water G produced at the heat exchanging portion 50 is sucked by a vacuum pump with the air inside of the casing, and supplied to a cooling tower 60. Odor components in the condensate water G is decomposed by the micro-organism included in the cooling water.
