Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a surface grid easily and accurately without determining whether a variety of shape data exists inside or outside of a surface gird. SOLUTION: A forming method for surface grid of object comprising steps of reading shape data on a product (Step 1), dividing a size of an element shaped in a triangle up into sizes with widths not more than that of a grid intersecting at right angles (S2-S6), lay outing points representing the triangle as point group data to define a shape of the product when the sizes of the divided triangles become the sizes with the widths not more than that of the grid (S7), determining whether data on each lay out point exists inside or outside of the grid (S8), defying the grid including the points as the surface grid of the object if the point data exists inside of the gird (S9) and adding grid information on material, board thickness, weight and the like of the object to the surface gird as needed (S10).
