To provide a simple and inexpensive expansion valve vibration absorbing member for stabilizing the operation of high pressure refrigerant with a pressure fluctuation.
The expansion valve vibration absorbing member 10 constrains a ball-shaped valve element 8 on a valve body for adjusting the amount of refrigerant flowing in an orifice communicating a high pressure side passage into which the refrigerant flows with a low pressure side passage out of which the refrigerant flows. The expansion valve vibration absorbing member 10 comprises an elastically deformable annular part 11 and a vibration absorbing spring 12. The vibration absorbing spring 12 supports the valve element 8 on the side face. The annular part 11 is formed of a slender plate-shaped elastic raw material into a C-shape, and its diameter size is changeable. As the diameter of the expansion valve vibration absorbing member 10 is reduced when mounted on the valve body, it tends to be elastically restored into the original diameter after mounted. Thus, the expansion valve vibration absorbing member 10 is easily mounted on the valve body and securely held in close contact with the valve body in the mounted state.
