Abstract:

To provide a denitration catalyst and a denitration method, which have a performance decrement as little as possible even if being used for a coal flue gas containing a cumulative catalyst poison at a high concentration, to aim little burden on the environment by the use of low quality coal having many impurities, and additionally, to provide a recycle method of the catalyst used for the use to contribute to a construction of a recycling-oriented society.

This is the platy denitration catalyst in which a catalyst component mainly containing a titanium oxide is impregnated on a metal lath substrate so as to embed the lath network. In the denitration catalyst for the coal flue gas containing the cumulative catalyst poison, a convex part of a notch of the metal lath exposes in a dotted form on both two sides of the catalyst, and the pore volume of the catalyst component embedding the notch of the metal lath is 0.3 ml/g or more.
