Abstract:
An in line electrical connector has a socket bush [1] and a plug [2]. Within the socket are a pair of contact bushes [12] that are aligned with contacts in the plug. The plug has a pair of formed elastic latch elements [2a,b] and these engage with projections [11a,b] in the socket to hold the parts in contact. Release is obtained by turning the outer sleeve [11] to disengage the latches.
