Abstract:

To provide a π-conjugate polymer having excellent luminescence property and endurance and useful as a polymer material of an organic thin layer EL element and a polymer material for an organic transistor active layer.

The polymer is characterized by having recurring unit represented by general formula (1). [Wherein, Ar is a (substituted) bivalent aromatic hydrocarbon or an aromatic heterocycle; R1and R4to R7are H or a (substituted) alkyl or alkoxy; x is 0 or an integer of 1-4; and when x is ≥2, R1may be different each other].
