To reduce refrigerant passing noise in an electric valve controlling a flow rate of a refrigerant.

A valve main body 10 of this electric valve 1 has an orifice 12, a valve chest 14 and a refrigerant passage 16. A motor unit 50 rotates an output shaft 62, and a driving shaft 64 is axially moved. A valve stem 80 allows a valve element 82 to be separated from and kept into contact with the orifice 12. A straightening member 100 is mounted at an outer side of the valve element. The straightening member 100 has a plurality of small straightening holes 130 to prevent large bubbles from passing through the valve chest 14 and to atomize the bubbles.
