To provide a method, system and device for deciding the necessity of the change of an identification number at a terminal equipment side, and for recommending and guiding the revision of an identification number/password to a customer only when it is decided that the change is necessary.

Terminal equipment acquires user ID, and transmits it to a host device, and the host device which has received the user ID transmits personal information corresponding to the user ID to the terminal equipment. The terminal equipment which has received the personal information corresponding to the user ID prompts the user to input an identification number/password, and when the identification number/password are input, the terminal equipment compares the input identification number/password with the received personal information, and when the input identification number/password are similar to the personal information, the terminal equipment prompts the user to change the identification number/password.
