To provide a simple and useful deodorizing and drying machine for effectively deodorizing by utilizing a photocatalyst without degrading a resin of an object to be dried by light radiation for activation of the photocatalyst.
The deodorizing and drying machine 10 includes a plurality of rotary wall members 16 provided to form a continuous wall facing the object 14 to be dried and a light radiation means 20 positioned behind the continuous wall formed with the wall members 16 and surfaces of the wall members 16 have the photocatalyst with photocatalyst activity and adsorption characteristics at high temperature. A photocatalyst apatite wherein part of calcium of calcium hydroxyapatite is substituted with titanium can be preferably used as the photocatalyst.
