To provide an automatic photo generating device which can impart a specific service such as printout only when a captured image transmitted temporarily to the outside and edited externally is received and photography processing is performed in a predetermined device.

After taking a shot at an imaging section 30, a processing (identification information attachment processing) for attaching a device code which can specify the manufacturer and the machine type of an automatic photo generating device is attached as identification information to a captured image obtained by that shooting. Transmission image data generated by identification information attachment processing are transmitted from a data transmitter 36 to a portable terminal 3. A data receiver 38 receives an image edited by the portable terminal 3 as reception data. When the device code indicative of the automatic photo generating device is included in that reception data, a printer 40 outputs an image based on the reception data as a photograph.
