To form a cutting blade at a thin metallic sheet forming an inner blade for an electric shaver only by press working.
At the thin metallic sheet 41, slit holes 42 extending in a direction crossing the sliding direction of the inner blade 4 are blanked at equal intervals. Between a punch die 5 where die bars 51 of inverse-trapezoidal cross sections are arrayed correspondingly to the respective slit holes and a receiving table 6 opposing the punch die, the thin metallic 41 provided with the slit holes is set. Then, the hole edges in the longitudinal direction of the slit holes 42 and 42a are pressurized by the trapezoidal inclined surfaces 43 of the punch die to form the hole edges on the inclined surfaces to form the cutting blade at the lower end edges of the hole edges.
