Abstract:

To deliver a procedure manual for specifying and restoring equipment and its fault to a user without directly interacting with the agent of a call center as much as possible.

A server 10 specifies the equipment where the fault is generated from a record including a serial ID by referring to an ID table 54 on the basis of the serial ID input in a terminal 20 connected through the Internet 18, prepares the list of procedure manual names sorted according to the number of inquiries on the basis of the number of the inquiries of the procedure manuals relating to the equipment by referring to a procedure manual table 64, and transmits the list through the Internet 18 to the terminal 20. The server 10 receives the procedure manual name from the terminal, retrieves a specified procedure manual file 64, and transmits the contents of the retrieved procedure manual file to a fax number indicated by the record of the ID table.
