To provide a method of manufacturing nonaqueous electrolyte battery which is avoided from deterioration due to penetration of water during long-term storage, prevented from bulging of the battery and decline in battery performance even if it is exposed to severe temperature conditions such as reflow soldering, and restrained from reduction in discharge capacity.
A nonaqueous electrolyte battery comprises a positive electrode including a positive electrode active material, a zeolite, and a conductive agent; a negative electrode; a separator placed between the positive and negative electrodes; and a nonaqueous electrolyte. The manufacturing method of the battery has a feature of including a first step of mixing the zeolite with the conductive agent until they are distributed uniformly, and a second step of adding the positive electrode active material to this mixture and blending it again after the first step.
