This recorder controller 1 is provided with a repeating means 24 for repeating control information from a record control means 21 and response information from the recorder 2 corresponding thereto, when the recorder 2 connected communicatably via a communication part 16 by the record control means 21 is controlled, and the repeating means 24 outputs the response information to the control information from the record control means 21, in place of the recorder 2, when detecting the abnormality of the recorder 2 or the abnormality in the connection.
