Abstract:
The assembly has an imaging detector bucky (16) mounted to an imaging frame assembly, and including a patient exposure surface (20) facing an imaging signal generation assembly (14). A thermo sensor assembly monitors the temperature at the surface. A processor logic (24) utilizing information from a thermo sensor is outside an imaging region of bucky to control heat generated by a thermo generating unit. An independent claim is also included for a method of maintaining control of temperature of a patient exposure surface on an imaging bucky detector as a portion of a mammography imaging assembly.
