Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain proper exposure from photographed picture data while sufficiently reducing the load to both hardware and software in an image pickup device which records picture data inputted from an imaging device. SOLUTION: Picture data is divided into plural block areas (A04), and the luminance signal of picture data in each of plural block areas is integrated (A05), and obtained integral values in individual block areas are compared with each other, and back light is discriminated in accordance with the comparison result (A06 to A08), and exposure correction is performed in the case of back light (A09).
