To provide a sunshade veil attachable to/detachable from headgears of various shapes, and enabling sufficient sunshade through covering both the rear and side parts of a human head and the neck.

The sunshade veil 1 made of a meshy material of polypropylene fibers, includes: a nearly rectangular veil body 2; an elastic cord 3 internally provided on the upper major side of the veil body 2 and joining both ends of the upper major side to each other; a chinstrap 4 attached so as to bridge both ends of the lower major side of the veil body 2, with positions as the starting points, at a predetermined spaced interval from both ends; and a part 5 for adjusting the length of the chinstrap 4. The part 5 includes bodies each having a cord-threadable hole and a fastener, and is designed so that the chinstrap 4 is slid or locked through insertion or drawal of the fastener into or from the bodies.
