To provide a metallized film capacitor in which moisture resistance is high and capacitance reduction is difficult to occur.
In a capacitor element 1 included in the metallized film capacitor, a side of a winding object 2 to which a pair of metallized films are wound with thickness of 12 μm is coated with a moisture absorption prevention film 3 functioning as an insulated protection layer, a wetproof enhanced multilayer laminated film 4, and a polyester adhesive tape 5 in order from an inner side. Electrode drawing-out parts 6 are attached in both end faces of the winding object 2 by thermally spraying a metal.
