To provide a technique capable of stabilizing the equivalent ratio of an air-fuel mixture sucked into a combustion chamber by a simple structure and avoiding a problem such as knocking and misfire, even when a gas engine is provided with an EGR means for recirculating a part of exhaust gas delivered from the combustion chamber to an exhaust passage into fresh air sucked into the combustion chamber and the amount of exhaust gas fed is changed by the EGR means.

The EGR means X is so configured that the exhaust gas E taken out from an exhaust passage 3 is fed to both an intake passage 2 and a fuel gas passage 21.
