Abstract:
To provide an imaging apparatus which enables a user to easily confirm an in-focus state during focusing.
The imaging apparatus includes an imaging device 106 for photoelectrically converting a subject image formed by imaging optical systems 101 to 105 and a display means 111 for displaying an image generated by using the imaging device. The imaging apparatus includes control means 114 and 110 for displaying an image for focusing, on a display means in response to an operation of an operation means 124 which is operated for manual focusing of the imaging optical systems. The control means delay the display start of the image for focusing, behind the start of the operation of the operation means.
