To provide a video editing apparatus by which a series of video data are color-corrected while reducing the load of a color correction work, and to provide a video editing program.
The video editing apparatus sets the same subject, selected from among at least two of a series of video data items, as a color correction target (S11), extracts a representative pixel value from image regions within a predetermined range including the relevant subject for each of the at least two video data items (S12), determines a color correction parameter which minimizes a color error between the relevant representative pixel values in each of the at least two video data items (S13), and performs color correction upon all the at least two video data items based on the relevant determined color correction parameter (S15).
