Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a cord connected from a power source to a heater from breaking due to fatigue even in such a structure that the heater moves for connection in a strapping mechanism of a bill strapping apparatus for winding a paper strap around a plurality of bills and sticking by heat of the heater, and in addition to reduce a routing region of a cable. SOLUTION: The strapping mechanism of the bill strapping apparatus for binding a plurality of bills with a strap-like medium comprises the heater 5 for heating the medium for sticking, a heater motor 11 for moving the heater 5 between a sticking position and a waiting position, and contacts 10 and 16 for changing an electrically connected state to the heater 5 depending on the movement of the heater 5, wherein power is supplied to the heater 5 via the contacts.
